2024 will be the year of semiconductors. Gartner’s word

According to Gartner, a gloomy 2023 is drawing to a close and a brighter, more promising 2024 is on the way.

In 2023, figures show a turnover of USD 532 billion, far from 2022 turnover of USD 600 billion.

The expected turnover for 2024 is estimated at USD 630 billion.

This trend in the semiconductor market is thought to be linked to two main factors: a slowdown in demand and oversupply.

Memories are the worst affected part of the sector, a consequence of overstocking, which should, however, give way to a recovery in 2024.
