According to Gartner, a gloomy 2023 is drawing to a close and a brighter, more promising 2024 is on the way.<\/em><\/p>\n

In 2023, figures show a turnover of USD 532 billion<\/strong>, far from 2022 turnover of USD 600 billion.<\/p>\n

The expected turnover for 2024 is estimated at USD 630 billion.<\/p>\n

This trend in the semiconductor market is thought to be linked to two main factors: a slowdown in demand and oversupply.<\/p>\n

Memories are the worst affected part of the sector, a consequence of overstocking, which should, however, give way to a recovery in 2024.<\/p>\n
